Frantisek Gross - Czech painter and graphic artist
Gross was born in 1909 in Nowa Paka. He graduated from Czech Technical University in Prague, when he studied by František Kysela.
Together with his friends, sculptor Ladislav Zívr and photographer Miroslav Hak, he became a memeber of artistic association "Grupa 42". With their work, they tried to capture poetry of technical civilization.
Gross' artworks are exhibited in Czech public and private collections as well as in regional galleries in Czech Republic and abroad.
