Berthold Boess [1877-1957] was a german sculptor and modeler. He learned in High School of Decorative Arts in Karlsruhe. He worked for Rosenthal between 1913 and 1934. In this time he designed 25 models of figurines. Few of this figurines was used also by Karl Ens and Volkstedt porcelain manufactures.
