ROSENTHAL KUNS(Z)T
From 14.06 - 30.09.2012 we invite you to the "Rosenthal Kuns(z)t" exhibition, which will be presented in Town Museum in Wrocław.
During 11.05 - 09.06.2012 in our Poznań gallery, we presented an exhibition of art crafts - "Rosenthal Kuns(z)t". It was the first in 10 years of manufactory existance, presentation of its history. Rosenthal manufactory was in close relation with art and its correlation will be the main subjcet of the upcoming exhibition.
Rosenthal is especially known for high standard articles, as well as ongoing cooperation with the most important artists, for example: Henry van de Velde, Walter Gropius, Constantin Holzer- Defanti, Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Patricia Urquiola czy Versace.
The exhibition is organised with Andrzej Kareński-Tschurl – honorable consul od German Federal Republic, general distributor of Rosenthal in Poland and under the patronage of His Exellency Rüdigera Freiherr von Fritsch Ambassdorof German Federal Republic in Poland.
Among presented objects there are articles from: the Artykwariat Gallery collection, Vladimir Malakhov collection - extraordinary ballet dancer, Jan Stanisław Witkiewicz collection-the author of many publications concerns for example: porcelain figures, Andrzej Kareński-Tschurl collection, and other private owners.
Along with exhibition gallery realeses a book publication about Rosenthal porcelain.
Exhibition follows various events:
exhibition tour: 11 May, at 17.00 and 9 June at 17.00,
exhibition tour at Museum Night in Poznań – 19 May at 20.00,
as well as workshops for children and youth about Rosenthal porcelain.
