Théodore LAFITTE [1816-1875] was born on the 11th of July 1816 in Paris. He is classified within the Circle of  Barbizon Painters. He exhibited his works at the Salon regularly from 1848 to 1870, displaying mostly hunting animals, landscapes and portraits. His paintings are part of the collection of  the Museum in  La Roche-sur-Yon and Museum in  Valencia.
